We run a variety of events with our students, those of which can be found below.
Fydell House and Garden
It was a great day out for students and their families to Castleton in the Peak District.
We climbed to Peveril Castle on the top of the hill and saw the wonderful view over Hope Valley. We took a scenic walk through the valley and enjoyed a picnic in this amazing place.
We had a guided tour in Treak Cliff Cavern, an underground wonderland of stalactites, stalagmites, rocks, minerals and fossils. The home of the Blue John stone, which is popular as an ornamental stone and has been mined for 300 years.
We visited many attractions including the exciting cable car ride to the top of the Heights of Abraham. Many students conquered their fear to the heights!
At the Heights, we visited the two show caverns, the Victoria Orospect Tower, and relaxed in the cliff side restaurant and children's adventure play areas.
After the trip back down the cable car, one adventuruos group climed throug the forest to the summit of High Tor for some incredible views. The other group headed into the town and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and riverside activities.
Everyone had a wondeful time!
